Creamy Yogurt Jello: A Delightfully Healthy Treat

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup plain yogurt (Greek yogurt works well)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 package (3 oz) flavored gelatin (e.g., strawberry, raspberry)
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup milk (optional for creamier texture)
  • 1-2 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional, to taste)

Directions:

  1. Prepare Gelatin: Combine the flavored gelatin with 1 cup of hot water and let dissolve. Stir until completely dissolved.
  2. Cool: The cold water (1/2 cup) is added to the mixture and can be mixed.
  3. Yogurt Preparation: Then in a different bowl, put some yogurt and whisk it to a smooth consistency. Here you may also use milk if you want a cream yung consistency.
  4. Combine: Gently add the yogurt with gelatin mixture with a spatula or pour into the whisking yogurt. If required sweeten with honey or sugar.
  5. Set: Place the prepared mixture into the prepared mold or serving cups.
  6. Chill: Place in the refrigerator for not less than 4 hours or allow till jello sets.
  7. Serve: When ready carefully take out from serving cups or molds and serve cold. Garnish with fruits or whipped cream if you wish.
