🧁 Ingredients:

For the Cherry Jelly Layer:

  • 1 ½ cups cherry juice or syrup

  • 1 cup fresh or canned cherries (pitted)

  • 2 tbsp Gelito Unflavoured Gelatin Powder

  • 2 tbsp sugar (optional)

For the Chocolate Layer:

  • 2 cups milk

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 200g dark or milk chocolate (chopped)

  • 2 tbsp Gelito Unflavoured Gelatin Powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

🍫 Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Cherry Jelly Layer

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle Gelito Unflavoured Gelatin Powder over ¼ cup of cold water. Let it bloom for 5–10 minutes.

  2. Heat cherry juice and sugar in a pan until warm (do not boil).

  3. Add the bloomed gelatin and stir until completely dissolved.

  4. Pour the mixture into a jelly mold and add cherries.

  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, until slightly set.

Step 2: Prepare the Chocolate Layer

  1. Bloom Gelito Gelatin Powder again in ¼ cup cold water.

  2. In a saucepan, heat milk, cream, sugar, and chocolate until melted and smooth.

  3. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.

  4. Stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.

  5. Allow it to cool slightly, then pour gently over the cherry layer.

Step 3: Chill and Serve

Refrigerate the cake for 4–5 hours or overnight until firm.
To unmold, dip the mold base in warm water for a few seconds and invert onto a serving plate.
